Our Story

There are moments in life that change you forever. For me, that moment was losing our son, MJ.

MJ was deeply wanted, deeply loved, and will always be part of our family. While our time with him was far too short, the impact he has had on our lives is immeasurable. In the middle of grief, we found ourselves searching for meaning—something that could carry his name forward and bring light into the lives of others walking a similar path.

Through this experience, I became aware of a reality so many families face in silence: the emotional and financial burden of infertility and pregnancy loss. The journey to parenthood can already feel overwhelming, and for many, the cost of treatments like IUI, IVF, medications, or even time off work adds another layer of stress during an already painful time.

MJ’s Legacy Foundation was created from that place of love and loss—to turn heartbreak into help.

Our mission is simple: to provide financial assistance and support to families navigating infertility and pregnancy loss, so that more people have the chance to grow their families without the weight of financial barriers holding them back.

Every grant we give, every family we support, and every story we are able to be a part of is a way that MJ’s legacy lives on. He may not be here in the way we dreamed, but through this foundation, his life continues to create hope, healing, and possibility for others.
